What it does
Pantothenic acid is part of coenzyme A, a molecule your body uses to break down fats and carbs for energy and to manufacture hormones and healthy fats. It's quietly involved in a huge range of everyday metabolism. True deficiency is rare because it's in many foods, but it's an essential part of a complete B-complex foundation.
The science
Pantothenic acid synthesises Coenzyme A, enabling fat and carbohydrate metabolism, and supports adrenal hormone production.
